It started as an experiment in colour and repetition: a hand-built kaleidoscope of triangles in red, cobalt, forest green, burnt orange, black and white, mirrored until it reads as one continuous, hypnotic pattern rather than a repeat print. It’s an original Mazish design, drawn in-house, not licensed and not sold anywhere else, made for anyone who wants their board shorts to do some of the talking at the beach or the barbecue.
Fabric and fit
Cut from 100% polyester at an extra-light 110 g/m² (about 3.2 oz/yd²), these board shorts are built to dry fast and pack small — useful whether they’re going in a beach bag or a suitcase. The fabric holds its shape wash after wash and won’t sag or go baggy in the water the way a heavier cotton short can.
An elastic waistband with a black drawstring lets you dial in a snug, adjustable fit without a belt. Side-seam pockets carry keys, cash or a phone without adding bulk, and every seam is finished with thread colour-matched to the print, so the stitching disappears into the pattern instead of cutting across it. The regular cut sits at a relaxed, not-too-short length that works equally well in the surf, at the pool, or on the walk home afterwards.
